Former Member Rocky to Rejoin ASTRO on Stage, Filling the Void Left by Late Moonbin
Former ASTRO member Rocky will make a heartfelt return to the stage alongside his old group, temporarily reuniting with ASTRO for their upcoming concert following the tragic passing of Moonbin.
On April 14, ASTRO’s agency Fantagio announced on X (formerly Twitter), “Rocky will be joining ASTRO’s solo concert.” The label added, “Given the long time spent together under the name ASTRO, the members held deep discussions and proposed the idea to Rocky, who accepted and decided to join them on stage.”
Rocky officially withdrew from the group in February 2023 when his exclusive contract with Fantagio ended. Since then, he has pursued solo activities under his self-established agency, One Fine Day Entertainment. Despite his departure, he has maintained a close friendship with the ASTRO members.
The concert, titled “The 4th ASTROAD [Stargraphy],” is being held in celebration of ASTRO’s upcoming special single “Twilight.” It is intended to be a heartfelt occasion reflecting on cherished memories with their fans, known as AROHA.
Fantagio stated, “Rocky will perform select songs from his time with ASTRO, and they are preparing a warm, nostalgic stage to relive those shared memories with fans.”
Currently, ASTRO continues its activities as a four-member group following the untimely death of Moonbin. Rocky’s return marks a poignant and touching moment, both for the group and their fans, as they come together to honor Moonbin and relive treasured memories with Rocky back on stage.
